Kanheri Caves

Kanheri caves are a group of 109 Chaityas situated in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park on the outskirts of Mumbai. They comprise of chaityas, halls of congregational worship with intricately carved Buddhist sculptures, viharas, and monastery, all carved between 1BC to 10AD. Most are living quarters. Let us visit a few major caves.
Hours: 5 to 6 hours (depending on traffic) and actual sightseeing services of the guide is for one hour.
